Kudlow has figured out energy scam
WABC online ^ | 6/21/08 | Rodguy911

Posted on 06/21/2008 10:24:31 AM PDT by rodguy911

Larry Kudlow show on WABC just had John Mcintire of Reel Politics and Jerry Boyer on discussing energy. Here are a few quotes: Kudlow--"The old "green" talking points used by the dems don't work at $4.00 per gallon."

One of the guests: "What the dems are trying is social engineering, craziness...."

"It's in our DNA to want energy security/independence"

Jerry Boyer--You have to do everything(wind, solar, drillng etc. nukes) at$4.00 per gallon...

These guys get it.!! It's beginning to happen! Crist has come along and many others will as the reality of $4.00 per gallon gas sets in. I just talked to an aide of a well known Rep. in South Fla. to see if there was a change in mind and he literally "hung his head" and said "no not yet", but it will happen. We need to keep the fire lit under their butts.

The key is not to sell drilling alone but to sell the "package" since that's really what we need. We need everything!! We need to drill everywhere, build nukes without being sued by the rats, expand solar, wind, get more economy from gas engines, and demand it now. By including "everything" it takes away any and all of their silly arguments like the following:

1."it takes ten years to drill. 2.It will only amount to @2cents, at the pump 3. "use it or lose(leases) it"!!

All the above are out and out lies and are easily disproven. We are on the path and just need to perservere.

If it is going to take 10 years,

Exactly! Truth is near gulf drilling happens much faster than deep water drilling. Probably one of the reasons the rats don't want it.

They know that energy security brings us closer to capitalism and further away from socialism.

The gulf is different from he ocean side in that 70 miles offshore of some areas you are still in less than 100 feet of water, prime areas for drilling if oil is there.
Deep water drilling however, is expensive and does take longer.

Not as long as you'd think, according to someone at TransOcean. See http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2033346/posts

In Larry Kudlow's world, stock prices never go down; or, if they do happen to go down, they won't happen to go down very much; or, if they do happen to go down very much, they won't happen to go down very much for very long; or, if they do happen to go down very much for very long, they'll go all of the way back up very soon; or, ...

Listen to Kudlow for entertainment, but don't try to trade stocks on the basis of his talk...

Wow 4 years, that's awesome, thanks!! I think part of the problem is building the structure on land.

Truth is we need a Marshall plan on energy to do it all. Everything from nukes to refineries to drilling for oil everywhere, gas, solar wind, the whole enchilada needs to be Marshalled in on a 5 year plan and at the end we would be energy secure forever.

This morning, I stepped outside of a hotel (mega hotel chain (M******t). They have a valet attendant working for them that just loves to start political arguments in front of guests. Of course, he blamed the cost of oil on Bush. He also said that he hopes gasoline goes up to $6 a gallon in order to force us to look for alternative energy sources. Needless to say, I reported him to the management of the hotel.

Yeah I know he is the ultimate in optimism but I share his views most of the time. Besides it beats being an eternal pessimist like some.
When I hear the rats say ten years and 2 cents now that's pessimism, brainwashing or lying on purpose.

Every time I hear some RAT say “we can’t drill our way out of this”, or “we wouldn’t have that oil for 10 years”, I throw something at the TV. It’s a bald-faced lie. We could have new sources of oil in a year, or less, and we could keep billions of dollars in this country instead of shipping it to other countries.

BP discovered its Thunder Horse deepwater oilfield in 1999, and it first started producing this month.

Granted, they had problems, and Hurricane Dennis almost sunk the platform as it was being installed in 2005, but it took until 2005 to get the platform constructed and towed from Korea to its present location.

There is

NO

us vs them.

The globalists are fast and furiously engineering

‘the global village’ every way they can.

The Arabs were brought on board in Nixon’s term . . . except for Saddam and Iran.

Finally, the globalists have engineered stark consequences for both. Iran a little later than Saddam.

Enangling interconnections and dependencies across the globe is their goal and their design as well as their strategy.

They will continue to turn deaf ears foundationally to energy independence for the USA. They may do some shell game [pun intended] on the surface . . . Underneath . . . it’s the bullet train to the ‘global village’ of supreme tyranny.

The USA already has more than sufficient natural gas and oil and coal . . . even counting growing demand . . . for 400 years and likely much more.

We’ve been bambozzled for many decades. And they laugh in the halls of power at the ignorance and the stupidity of the serfs . . . the carefully crafted ignorance and stupidity of the serfs.

And the serfs have yellow smelly water fights over which globalist will be best for the country in whatever dancing puppet jobs.

And the puppet masters laugh some more.

Exactly!

Just like the enviro rats don't want anyone to think about anything but Exxon Valdes they don't want anyone to forget 3 Mile Island either.

They want a dumbed down population to thing that technology is stuck back in those days which it's not of course.

The problem is that the enviros are lap dogs for the dems/dnc. Along with that comes hundreds of millions of dollars to be used by high powered lawyers to constantly sue anyone who advocates energy security whether it be drilling in a wasteland like Anwar or building safe, cheap nukes.

It's basically an attack on capitalism by socialism/Marxists. We need to start calling it what it truly it so people understand a little better who is truly whom.

We don’t need a Marshall Plan for energy. What we need to do is get the environmentalists focused on the environment instead of Marxism. We need to let them know clearly and sternly that we are going to go after our energy sources and supplies and if they want to come along and help protect the environment, then welcome aboard. Otherwise, buzz off and go sell your religion somewhere else. Then we’ll protect the environment the best way we can by ourselves. That’s all we need. It is actually exciting to think how much the economy could grow with a national surge in energy related projects. WOW! Even the tree huggers could work along side energy workers (if they were actually interested in protecting the environment.)

I used to watch Kudlow on McLaughlin and loved him.

He tireless hammered the conservative line and stood up time after time to Eleanor Clift. He was a breath of fresh air in the 90's.

I was so glad to see him climb the ladder and put in charge of his own business show, and am thrilled that he is still promoting the supply side. We need more like him on TV.

The last guy I heard was basically saying "you have the leases, use it or lose it" without telling the entire truth about just how worthless many of the leases the oil companies have are.

They are arrogant beyond belief and the American public needs to see just how they play the game.

Other than the case of the heavily regulated nuclear industry, I think a free market can handle this well. At $4-5 a gallon, many entreprenuers and engineers are out to produce more, or conserve more energy, and they don't need to be told to do it. What free people come up with will be much better than a planned economy, and sometimes completely unexpected.
