It is amazing how many folks don't understand this. Obama is on the wrong side, but I have a lot of friends (overpaid Californians who forgot to check their home prices last week) who think that Americans will never want to endanger our precious environment. People will let their kids starve homeless on the street before they will agree to drilling off of the coast of California.

I agree, and I can’t help but wonder about the Saudi’s strategy in announcing a policy for increased production, given the context of the presidential election.
