You don’t think prostitution goes on in every major American city on a daily basis? Have you spent any significant time in cities. Prostitution is in fact pretty active in larger cities.
I’ve lived in London, Amsterdam, NY , LA, San Diego, Boston and Miami. NY and Miami were by far the worst.

I am rather provincial, I’m afraid. Here in Texas, this flaunted type of behavior isn’t commonplace. The cops won’t stand for it.
