I have met a few men that have been involved either in actual sightings or other weird unexplainable stuff happening around them. The ones who were younger when the events occurred, if they spoke their full minds, would be considered absolute whackouts.
The older ones, they just leave it up to God to decide what they should learn and what they shouldn’t. They aren’t interested in prying around or looking for answers that aren’t obvious.
If you know what to look for, you can find a lot of this weird stuff going on. I am not brave enough to step in too deep but I sure enjoy listening to the men who stray over the accepted boundaries.
They are afraid of offending their grant sources.

It’s easy to understand the need for disinformation in these areas. Nations that don’t venture into space don’t have the same need for secrecy that we do.
In their industry, grants are the golden goose. It's equally important to not be thought of as a whack amongst peers... so, sadly, there's a lot of locker room grab ass, and one on one going on in the politics of the campus. It's the same reason that otherwise competent pilots won't say a word about situations that would tarnish their 'careers.'
I don't have to care about such, nor do most of us here, because we weren't there. Do you suppose we'll learn the truth of TWA-800 in twenty five years? Fifty? Hell, we haven't scratched the surface of Dealy Plaza or WTC or Waco or OKC ... and the honest to God terrorist actions going on to date in our republic... and all of that is going on - here on the planet's surface. Subterfuge has to be the order of the day in such a situation. Has to. Questions won't be answered, hence, they must be researched, and the paid pro researchers are bound by grants and peer review. So, here we are in quandary land, bouncing ideas and opinions. Amateurs!

i QUITE agree. . . . though I think often it’s more of a duty to listen to some of the folks over the boundaries. some I enjoy. some I don’t.
But I feel a duty to stay alert to what’s going on in the field because I believe it’s going to play such a key role in END TIMES prophetic events.

Have studied the topic since 1962 in several diligent ways and still consider myself an amateur.
This is a field where everyone will always be an amateur due to the vastness of the subject. There are no professionals or experts, just those who have been over the line and those who haven’t.

BUCHAREST, Romania, June 6 (UPI) — The Romanian Defense Ministry has confirmed that a fighter plane was struck by four unidentified flying objects and released a video of the incident.
The ministry said the MIG 21 Lancer fighter plane was struck by the objects during an Oct. 31, 2007, check flight but was able to land safely, Hotnews.ro reported Friday.
Lt. Col. Nicolae Grigorie said a video recorded by cameras onboard the plane depicts “two solid bodies, which are not translucid.”
Grigorie said authorities are working to determine what the objects could have been.
“They couldn’t be birds because there are no birds in Europe able to fly so high. And they couldn’t be ice bodies because it was a clear sky — neither could they be pieces of another plane or a meteor,” he said.
He said the government has ruled out rocket launches and ground artillery fires as causes of the incident. ###

A SHAKEN soldier told last night how he saw THIRTEEN UFOs spinning in the skies above his military barracks.
Corporal Mark Proctor was among three squaddies who spotted the objects while out on night patrol.
