I was assigned to a Department of Public Works building for a 2004 polling place. The union posters lining the paths to the voting booths weren't exactly neutral, as some voters were quick to point out. But I also noticed those posters inspired some angry voters to go home and drag their friends and family into voting for this kind of chicanery, so I decided not to file a protest with the judge of elections.
