ANN ARBOR, MI The Thomas More Law Center, a national non-profit, public-interest law based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, today released the transcript of the recent Unlawful Command Influence ruling by the military judge Colonel Steven A. Folsom dismissing all charges against LtCol Jeffrey Chessani, USMC. The Law Center represents LtCol Chessani.
Last week, prosecutors suffered a huge setback when the military judge dismissed all charges against LtCol Chessani, the highest ranking Marine officer facing charges arising out of the Battle of Haditha. The government has indicated that it intends to pursue an appeal, which will continue the case and the expense of taxpayer money for many more months.
Please read the transcript here.
The governments appeal will be initially heard by the Navy-Marine Corps Court of Criminal Appeals (NMCCA), which is located in Washington, D.C. A decision by that court could then be appealed to the Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces (CAAF) and then even to the U.S. Supreme Court.
Great minds think alike.
See my ping to you.

Yes indeed! I’m going to as the Mods to pull this thread since it’s essentially a duplicate. Let’s get the comments rolling on the one you posted.
as = ask
I read the entire transcript and thought the highlighted portion was the most significant. You said the same here when you told everyone to read the end first.
I don’t know why Bush lets this case go on.
BUMP!
Great. I asked the Mods to pull this one. I’m surprised it’s still here.
A link would help those of us who suffer from chronic sloth.
Not sure what you mean—doesn’t the pdf link work above?
...to the other thread.
Same reason we have innocent Border Patrol agents in prison, or why he wanted amnesty for illegal aliens.
The man doesn’t have a lot of horsepower under the hood.
Chessani is not guilty of anything, but that was a stupid decision. Had he told them to pound sand, he may not be in his current position.
