Obama aide a former Clinton hatchet man

I was wondering when you were going to call me," so said the irrepressible Nolanda Butler Hill when I phoned last week.

She knew precisely what item of news had prompted me to call: the revelation that Barack Obama had selected Clinton deputy attorney general and Ron Brown protégé Eric Holder to help vet his vice presidential candidates.

As the confidante and business partner of the late Clinton Commerce Secretary Ron Brown, Hill knows from personal experience that Holder's sins go well beyond his seamy role in the Marc Rich pardon scandal.

Vermin can damage race card collection, study finds

We know what kind of campaign Democrats are going to run. They're going to try to make you afraid. They're going to try to make you afraid of John McCain. 'He's old and too experienced and he's got a funny middle name, Sidney. And did I mention he's white?'

Michael Dukakis, Al Gore and John Kerry all ran for president playing the victim card and lost, so now Obama is doing all he can to emulate this winning strategy by playing the victim card.

Not content with getting shellacked for his "bitter" remarks which he thought were off the record, Obama told donors in Florida last week (in remarks he thought were off the record) that race will be used against him by 'they' (Republicans). Basing his claim on zero evidence, he said: "We know what kind of campaign they're going to run. They're going to try to make you afraid. They're going to try to make you afraid of me. 'He's young and inexperienced and he's got a funny name. And did I mention he's black?'" No. Would've never known it. Whadda guy.

Obama's claim was so stupid, the media called it a masterstroke. Better that Obama reveal he's black before Republicans do! And keep talking about race, that way the campaign won't become about race. Given that Republicans aren't playing the race card, Obama plays the race card and blames Republicans for his bringing up the race card himself. A genius, that Obama.

In fact, the wonderful "post-racial candidate" has played the race card again and again throughout the campaign, with one of his supporters -- Professor Orlando Patterson -- even claiming during the primaries that Hillary's '3 A.M. red phone' ad was "racist" because the sleeping children in the ad were white. You'll recall that this ad was instrumental in helping Klan leader Hillary win the Texas primary.

But in his 1984 Democrat primary campaign, Walter Mondale ran a similar 'red phone' ad, so the New York Times had to admit the Hillary ad may not have been an attempt to bring on the White Revolution after all. Instead, the ad "falls in a long tradition of 11th-hour political ads warning the nation against electing someone new to the world stage and untested in a national crisis." At the time, Mondale's ad was aimed primarily at that famed African-American, Gary Hart.

Post-racial Obama's post-racial press aides in South Carolina circulated a four-page memo to media outlets back in January about how racist the Clintons were being toward Obama -- a laughable claim since no one knew he's black until he mentioned it last week! The memo outlined statements by the Clintons and their allies on race in order to make the case that Obama was being attacked on racial grounds.

For example, the memo claimed racial victimhood for Obama on the basis of Hillary's remarks regarding the role the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. played in getting the 1964 Civil Rights Act enacted into law. The Obamatrons claimed Hillary was being racist because she pointed out that it took an LBJ to sign the Act into law and, therefore, she wasn't giving King all the credit. And since King was black and gave speeches and Obama is black and gives speeches, the Obamatrons figured Hillary was actually attacking Obama!

Showing he's a different kind of politician, Obama at first refused to take responsibility for the memo then backed down when cornered during a debate in Las Vegas. The memo was for one-time use only and these were not the same press aides I thought I knew.

Obama played the race card again in the case of Geraldine Ferraro, who made the manifestly obvious point that Obama didn't get to where he is because of his vast experience and legislative achievements that he doesn't have. In response, Obama campaign honcho David Axelrod demanded Ferraro be fired from the Hillary campaign: "The bottom line is this, when you wink and nod at offensive statements, you're really sending a signal to your supporters that anything goes!" Former "Sports Center" anchor and current MSNBC Nutjob Keith Olbermann went on a long rant on his show, screaming "despicable!", "ugly in its overtones, laughable in its weak grip of the facts, moronic!" -- and he wasn't even describing himself. Several weeks into his rant, he told all two of his viewers: Ferraro is David Duke!

It's the most risible fiction that Obama's been running as "post-racial" when he and/or his surrogates keep whining that so-and-so was being racist or so-and-so's spokesman was being racist or so-and-so's spokesman's so-and-so was being racist, and when it's not racism then it's Republicans trying to "swiftboat" Obama, the Senate's most left-wing ideologue, by "painting" Obama as the Senate's most left-wing ideologue. Wars aren't won on defense nor by fighting the last war and campaigns based on damage control and 'push-backs' and setting up websites to deal with 'rumors' and 'rumors' of 'rumors' aren't either, as poor little Obama will find out in about five months.

Anyway, that's...
My Two Cents...

With Eric Holder and Anthony Lake already on board and Gorelick being mentioned as ready for duty, its only a matter of whether our Leftist totlitarian country we are handed over to: the Chinese, Chavez or the North Koreans.

Hill thinks she knows why Holder jumped ship. He was a key player in a racially exclusive cabal of D.C. insiders. "He's so racist it's not even funny," she says of Holder, "not only racist but elitist."

Sounds like a perfect fit for Obamessiah.
