With each passing day, I see more irrational and absurd behavior than the day before.
Sixty years ago, who would have guessed that the SCOTUS would decide whether or not an American has the right to self-defense with a firearm.
Americans then would laugh the democrats right out of the room for proposing such Stalinist madness.
How very far we have fallen as a society.
“Americans then would laugh the democrats right out of the room for proposing such Stalinist madness.”
So true. Not to mention the “global warming” hoax, banning light bulbs, banning drive-thru’s, banning political ads 60 days before an election (!), a bunch of anti-American “supreme” justices who vote their ideology instead of following the constitution, and a government who’s more obsessed with making MORE laws on us (to make MORE money for THEM) than they are with actually in any way improving the life of the the average citizens in this country.
You are certainly one who "get's it."
It's the long perspective that gives you that wisdom.
Day-to-day, poll-to-poll, Americans are blind to how far we've fallen from original intent.
Even today....the mere fact that this thread exists.....eagerly awaiting to be told what our God given rights actually are by an unelected oligarchy...
Whether Scalia or Ginsburg write the opinion, they're still writing a CONTROLLING opinion on our basic rights. Good or bad outcome, it's a sad day.
Tis what happens when we decided to shove aside the One who made us the greatest nation ever.
