If his mom's a citizen, he's a citizen

Not so sure about that. It seems Thomas Sowell has entered the fray.

In short, "Barack Obama is not legally a U.S. natural-born citizen according to the law on the books at the time of his birth."

I think this is a non-issue, but if Sowell's reasoning is valid, there will be a court case if Obama wins.

You might want to reread the Sowell column, and reread the comment to which you are responding. They do not contradict each other.

Thomas Sowell didn't write that.

And the reasoning in the fake Sowell column is pathetic.

Hawaii was an incorporated territory of the United States, and hence US soil, since before Stanley Anne Dunham was born.

Her residency requirement was unimpaired.
