Quinnipiac

Quinnipiac polls aren't worth the electrons it takes to post them. Their absolute numbers are awful (huge liberal bias to their samples) -- only relative movement between samples in any way can be useful.

“My big hope is that during the debates Obama does the same thing that he did in the primary debates, namely look bored, spout off nothing of importance, and show everyone that he is lost without a teleprompter”

I believe there is a very good chance that Obama will decline to debate McCain for this very reason.

If he seems to be doing well in the polls, why bother? Why risk his chances?

This polling group as just frauds. This group has never done a poll with a Repub ahead ever except the Rep primary which I don't recall then being too interested in.
How does any of these lib polling groups have Obama ahead when according to the lefty AP polling group that
47 % of the Clinton voters are not supporting OBama ( 25% are for McCain and others are undecided) ?
People really need to wake up to the propaganda/ PR war being wage by the Obama media. The HEADLINE alone should have tipped everyone off that these are Obama push polls so the LIb media could get the desired headline.

This poll is brand new, hot off the presses, just posted on realclearpolitics.com, read the article carefully, this is great for Mac and dismal for Obama and the MSM. It also completely nullifies the outrageous Newsweek and L A Times polls.

Thanks for giving evidence of the lack of logic. This is more than ONE battle.

Just wait until election night when the DBM will project Obama as the winner in all the eastern states, in attempt to influence the western states’ voters.

Wait until people find out how much Obama will raise their taxes.

If I were John McCain, I’d set up a website where people could enter their income and deductions and so forth and see how much their taxes would rise under Obama.

That’s a free tip, Senator McCain.

what is $150.00 a barrel plus gas prices going to do to the election? I think the Voters when Airlines shut down , schools are broke from gas and electric prices are taking away from budget. One will drill the other never

It could help McCain in Colorado, I think. It's well known, and widely dislked, that Dems have done all they could to stop oil shale, and harass the oil/gas industry here.

Plus, we have wide open spaces, so we really end up driving a lot- Salazar should have known this before he killed oil shale.

How many wars are won by willingly losing battles?

I can think of only one war that was won after willingly eliminating many of those who would have fought with you. And I believe it was upon instructions from God (something about taking those who raised water to their lips and eliminating those who drank directly from the water ;)).

Huh, buddy there will be a NO next time . OBama worked for ACCORN the voter fraud operation that has dead people and homeless people voting in multiple states. That his community activist work experience. If he gets control of the WH and control the federal agencies writing voter laws and the federal judge/supreme court appoints kiss this country GOOD BYE. This election is most important in our lifetime. We have a full blown Marxist running as a Dem on a national ticket . If he and his cohorts gain control over the federal govt we are screwed for life. Platitudes are meaningless when the radical left takes control , They never willingly give back power , they change the rules to stay in power.

>>>The thought of hearing McCain speak for four years makes me cringe

At least Limbaugh does a pretty darn good impersonation of him, complete with all those dark and deranged McQueeg-like thoughts.

If McCain was leading by as little a margin as they claim Obama is, the headline would read “McCain Narrowly Leads Obama in Swing States.”

A vote for McCain is a vote for a liberal....

The best thing the GOP can do now is get rid of McCain and nominate someone else. Running a liberal to offset a DNC liberal is suicide.

I cringe when I see so-called conservatives waste a vote on McCain, when there are conservative third-party choices.

Dont give me this “A vote for a third party is a vote for Obama” crap.....that BS is for double-digit IQ “my candidate is a loser” types.

If the GOP wants this conservative, remove McCain.

That is very interesting. Not only is the Time poll very different from some of the others, but the numbers are not great news for BO. If he is the great saint and savior, why is he only mustering up a mere 43% of people polled? Hardly overwhelming numbers.

I seem to think the United States is stronger than you do. We survived Carter, and while we'll suffer, we'll survive Hussein. Conservatism will die under McCain, not in a battle but in quiet complacency.

Hussein will be so terrible, that people will be forced to act. Look, the fact is, McCain stands no chance because he doesn't motivate the voters that he has to have to win.

Moving to the center will only cause more and more losses for liberal GOP'ers and will kill conservatism. A shock to the current liberal GOP voters like Hussein will give rise to them converting to true conservatism.

I'm sorry, but I can't violate my own principles, morals and convictions to vote for a liberal like McCain, even against a communist like Hussein. Call me a nose despite the face conservative. And, like it or not, I am not alone.

McCain loses not because he's too conservative, but because he's too liberal.

No matter what truth we tell them, . . . well, do you remember the Clinton years? No matter what lies he told, 65% approval. No matter what evidence that he was a slime, or corrupt, 65% approval rating.

That's what we're dealing with, and Obama could win this in a landslide.
