Jindal is smart enough to realize one of the first ways you slow the flow of corruption in Louisiana Politics, is pay the politicians more, so they do not have to look for other ways to make money, ie. kick backs. The pay they were getting was absolutely ridiculous. Jindal is a great conservative and will be a great Governor of Louisiana. Just yesterday Jindal signed into law the chemical castration of sex offenders that molest children and are convicted.

Then why didn't he take that stand and make that explanation during the campaign? Why run for office on the promise that you will oppose the pay raise and then violate that promise once elected?

Jindal is a great conservative and will be a great Governor of Louisiana.
