Laid out before Allen, a razor-sharp, 36-year-old political theorist, was what purported to be a biographical sketch of Barack Obama that has become one of the most effective -- and baseless -- Internet attacks of the 2008 presidential season. During that time, polls show the number of voters who mistakenly believe Obama is a Muslim rose -- from 8 percent to 13 percent between November 2007 and March 2008.

Wow, that's one effective attack - changing the percent that believe Obama's a "radical Muslim" by 5 percent (based on their claim alone)./sarc

The increase in those believeing Obama is a Muslim between Nov. 2007 and March 2008 is 62.5 percent (13-8=5/8=.0.625). It was an increase of 5 Percentage Points, but the actual increase in those believing Obama is a Muslim was much greater and a very effective propaganda ploy.

Obama a Muslim? Impossible.

Impossible, actually. To be a Muslim, or a Christian, or a Hindu for that matter, Obama would have to believe in a Power greater than himself. Which, in ObamaLand, would be heresy. Obama reminds me of a well-worn joke we tell around these parts, concerning three storied basketball coaches (one of whom often wore red sweaters). The three coaches end up before the Dreadful Judgement Seat of God. What makes the joke funny at the end is frightening when one puts Obama before the throne, proclaiming, “I am Barack Hussein Obama, and you are sitting in my seat.”

Rush had fun with this, too.

The above is an excerpt from my blog, as a disclaimer.
