That's great CYA language from our illustrious Commander-in-Chief, but the net effect remains the same:

Bush has caved to Kim Jong Il, we are back to the days of Clinton/Albright/Carter so far as Pyongyang is concerned, our ally Japan is wondering WTF is going on, and a U.S. ship carrying 37,000 tons of wheat has already arrived in the NK port of Nampo, i.e. 'the fix was in'.

And the hundreds of thousands of North Koreans being tortured and experimented on in countless concentration camps will no doubt be very grateful that their guards will be eating better with the increased food aid coming from the U.S. and the U.N. Ahhhh what the Hell, let's raise a glass and toast the ~~Third Leg of the Axis of Evil~~ errr, that is "America's Newest Partner for Peace and Prosperity"!!
