It may be very possible we are being scammed by Obama’s troops and at some point he will come forward with a certified-certified copy and make us all look foolish, full of tin-foil conspiracy theories, and right-wing nut cases.And then they will turn around and say "Obama was born in the US but McCain was not", and all the arguments brought up will apply to McCain instead.

The US born argument doesn’t apply to McCain. Children born to military personnel stationed overseas are waivered those born on base are automatic American citizens. All US bases are American soil. Those born in route are waivered by US Ambassadors.
