Nammo said the FRC would like to see Obama acknowledge that life begins at conception and that fatherhood entails responsibility to the unborn.

Surely Obama feels that the responsibility ends once you have dropped the poor girl off at the federally-funded abortion clinic.

I wish we would stop saying "when does life begin" and start saying "when does personhood begin." Bacteria are alive, we don't care about them. Obama has acknowledged difficulty with the term "life begins." I wrote a mini-article on his abortion position.

Sen. Obama has voted against the Born Alive Infants Protection Act, which would have protected from infanticide those children who survive abortion attempts.

That's because any woman who has paid good money for a dead baby is entitled to a dead baby.

Fatherhood does NOT begin at conception. It begins the moment the mother decides she wants her fella to pay for that child for 18 years.

If she decides she’d rather not have the baby, there IS no fatherhood. The decision of fatherhood is up to every mother. Even if the father WANTS that baby and the mother does not.

It isn’t a question of “when” life begins, Obama and others clearly put the rights and desires of the mothers ahead of the wellbeing of that child.

They say that it is not a life worth living if it is an “unwanted” child. Since this ignores the potential for adoption, Barack Obama has added the argument that it would be “punishment” for that woman to show some of the same responsibility expected of FATHERS whether they want it or not.

This is a very large issue, but not one that McCain has embraced thus far. We shall surely pay for the deaths of the innocent we have allowed, and Obama has a high price to pay for that so far.
