I really dislike recruiting kids into politics in this manner. If the kids are interested, let them ask, if they want to play a role, then let the parents decide. But to ACTIVELY try to recruit kids...sounds a little icky.

Left wing movements always try to go after the “kids” and it’s always about the “youth” and when they’re policies get implemented you get a generation of brain washed morons. It’s happening in Africa. It happened with Pol Pot. It happened with Hitler. They always go for the kids. And look what happens. Children cannot handle the sensitive environment of politics and to recruit them is cowardly, manipulative and dangerous.

Remember the little girl who spoke at the Democrat convention as the leader of “Kids for Kerry” last time? As she spoke, she scolded Cheney for saying a bad word, and the crowd loved it!
I can’t wait to hear the “Kids for Obama” rep. speak at the convention.

I don’t know how many times I’ve had children come home from school telling me to vote for yet another tax increase in order to fund the school system otherwise Mr. or Mrs. so-and-so will loooooooose their job, our schools will lose their accreditation and they’ll never ever get into college. It’s a life or death crisis every time. Yawn.
Next they’ll be suggesting to childs that it’s their duty to report their parents to the authorities for not recycling or using incandescent bulbs or keeping it too warm in winter or too cold in summer. The list can go on and on......
