Wha-h-h-h? This has to go down as one of the stranger non sequiturs from a pundit of national standing. Responding to a study that concludes that burgeoning multiculturalism threatens national unity, David Broder takes solace in the fact that 34 years ago, the American body politic booted Richard Nixon from office.
In his column of today, One Nation No More?, Broder comments on the study, E Pluribus Unum, recently released by the The Lynde and Harry Bradley Foundation.

Someone please explain this to me ping to Today show list.
Old liberals never die, they just get more stupid.
Lisa: How are you grandpa?
Abe Simpson: Well, when you ask that question, you're really asking two questions, aren't you? And to answer the first part of your question, I have to go back to 1922. Harding was president then, and he liked to wear an onion on his belt. It was the style at the time. Anyway ...
LOL. Precisely.
PS: But it was a good onion ;-)
Sorry, Mark .. there IS no explanation.
Come to think of it ... it’s surprising his opening about Jefferson didn’t go on to say “and two centuries later, the Republic was saved by Ben Bradlee, Carl Bernstein and Bob Woodward.” The WaPo really DOES think they saved the Republic for all time by exposing the Nixon Administration’s crimes.
(Coke ad): Old fart talking: “The capitol of Jibuti is Jibuti.”
Secure the BRODER NOW !
For there is too much evidence these days that the whole party is Anti-American and has an agenda to CHANGE America politically standing the Constitution on its head.. And it looks like the republican party has been penetrated and demolished by stealth democrats.. stealing the Grand OLd Partys False Teeth.. As John McLaim GUMMS his way toward the Presidency and whisles when he speaks....
Broder is beginning to resemble Jimmy Carter, physically and intellectually.

If we didn't have a complicit media trying like hell to prop them up, liberals railing on about their irrelevant 40-year-old agenda would be regarded as goofy old geezers like Abe there.
Nostalgia ain't what it used to be.
CLOSE the Broder now!!
This is a favorite tactic of the contortionists on the left. They twist and turn to steer the conversation or written matter in a direction that allows them to take a swipe at a Republican. To their mind, it makes sense. The rest of the world is going, "Huh?"
Thanks for watching Bizzaro World, Mark. The pundits of national standing are more like stand up comedians every day.
