I saw info about this company on FR a couple months ago and have been watching them with interest to see if this turns into anything.
If nothing else, I love their CEO's attitude!

From what I have read algae is a completely different world from corn fuels/ethanol which are a disaster.

The negative element in using algae for fuel is keeping the McCormick Harvester and Binder from snaring and stringing up tuna, porpoise, sardines and whales. There goes another chink in our food pyramid

This advance won't be cheered and will have a very short half-life in what little media that mention it on page 49D because it solves too many of their alarmist demands. This proves those demands are driven by a further agenda to reduce our power and prosperity via suppression of economic activity.
