Ah, Billy Beer. Thank you. It's been years since I thought of Billy Beer.

Someone once asked the great Democrat Mo Udall (as fine a human being as that Party has ever produced, and a lightning-quick wit) what he thought of Billy Beer. "Well, I tried a six-pack, but thought it tasted odd. Sent a can out for analysis. Came back this note, "Congressman, your horse has diabetes."

They don't make Democrats like Mo anymore, that much is certain. What a pity.
