it’s amazing how many will not consider the military. They work to get these insignificant scholarships of $500 or a $1000 bucks when the military allows troops to earn college opportunity as deferred pay that amounts to full tuition, books, supplies, and living allowance.

And while you’re in the military they pay you, clothe you, feed you, and train you in a job skill.

It’s not a bad deal. The problem many think is “going to war.”

I disagree. I think the problem with most is “rejection of any kind of discipline in their lives.”

That plus most of the ones that reject military service are self serving spoiled rotten brats that are usually allied with the Democrats in one way or another and feel the world and the US owe them something. Amazing that a Democrat's statement sums up what we should believe succinctly....Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country....

I work with and a significant number of my profession are spoiled rotten pussies that are eco leftist crooked Democrats. They are touchy feely and when it comes to military service shirk away. Now there are some that do my profession proud and are in the USA, USAF now or have been in the services.
