Quite possibly. Kindness and caring mean a lot. We live in a rough and tumble world, and home needs to be a physical and emotional haven. For many of us, physical expression is pretty difficult when we feel a lack of tenderness, respect, and loving appreciation. It's a two-way street.
Very much so. When I come home I am greeted with a hug. Not a little squeeze but a nice big bear hug. The kind you can snuggle right into.
Does that make me more receptive later? Probably. I do know that once I get my hug it is much easier to leave my work problems sitting out on the porch. Funny but when I pick them back up in the morning they seem a whole lot smaller.
