I personally thought that the Willie Horton ad was one of the best ever. It was true and effective.

White guilt apologists balked even within conservative, let alone GOP circles. Yet, it is common and accepted for the Dems to run the fake “deny black turnout” ads every election cycle accusing any and all Republicans as not just racist but intimidators of the black vote.

Wake up pansies.

The Willie Horton ad was racist and did not reflect reality.

30 prisoners shown and only three were African-Americans and two Hispanics? Pure racism against whites.

Recall that the candidate who first raised the prison furlough (Willie Horton) issue against Mike Dukakis in 1988 wasn’t George Bush. It was Al Gore. ...
