So. Nobody should ever make a profit from broadcasting of any kind.
This is just another way to try to squeeze more blood from the taxpayers.
I can’t find it anywhere in the Constitution where it says the government owns the sky. If Manny Ramirez hits a home run over the Wall at Fenway tonight does he have to pay for its flight path?
Let me explain the arguement. The government owns everything, so breathing air is accepting government welfare.
Someone sounds just a wee bit jealous!
Thanks....this screed made NO sense to me.
Limbaugh’s “air” only has millions of $ value because Limbaugh is on it. HE is the source of value.
Think of how valuable (say) Al Franken’s airtime is. Nothing. Air America couldn’t get a single private advertiser IIRC.
As one of the ‘landlords of the airwaves’, Mr. Limbaugh, you may stay. And you, Mr. Nader, bite my a$$.
Nader is just a pathetic old man looking for attention.
Neoliberals say the darndest things!

Ralph Nader: Millionaire hypocrite?
Should we think any less of consumer advocate Ralph Nader when we find out he’s a multimillionaire? (snip)
Nader told the Post he believes he’s made between $13 million and $14 million over the course of his career; and according to his just-released financial disclosure statement he is worth at least $3.8 million. Even more striking, much of that wealth is invested in a small group of high-flying tech stocks such as Cisco Systems, Comcorp, Iomega and Ziff-Davis.

Ralphie boy Nadir (sic) is envious of the big paycheck Rush is making.
He’s hoping someday to buy his cheap, ugly, ill fitting suits someplace other than Sears or JC Penney’s.
He’s just itching to get out of that crummy Prius and into a big ass, honking Hummer and date Jessica Simpson.
If TV and Radio existed at the time of the founding and ratification of the Constitution does anyone reading this honestly believe that the founders would have considered the freqency/spectrum that they broadcast on to be “public property”? Hardly. And for Nader’s education, and others who believe the ‘public airways” nonsense, the FCC was established to protect broadcasters spectrum. To prevent the “bleeding” of other stations onto them, and the outright theft of the spectrum by illegally broadcasting on someone elses. That is it. No more, no less.
Bingo - you distilled Nader’s page-long garbage into 2 sentences. His argument still makes no sense. What an attention-seeking maroon.
Ralph, see what happens when you go off the meds?
Go Ralph go!
He can’t hurt Rush, but by attacking him, he might take some nutroot votes from Obambi. Rush should challenge Nader to a debate and lose on purpose as part of Chaos III.
Dear Ralph, Thank your letter. I want to express our gratitute towards you for taking enough votes away from Gore in Florida to give Bush the victory. The country is indebted to you.
Love, Rush.
I don’t understand what this moron is saying. I think he’s been sniffing more Corvair exhaust.
I suppose that Ralphie is volunteering to be the collection agent.
