Separating Marxism from Western Culture doesn't make sense. It came right out of Locke and 18th century Enlightenment ideas of and ‘man's infinite perfectibility’ and the ability to create a Heaven on Earth.

Maxism may be "a child of the Enlightenment", but it is a bastard child, out to kill off the legitimate heirs of Western culture -- Christianity and Democracy.
