NYT's Bill Broad is planning to quote Pentagon officials and military insiders.

Yes, old rockets. We saw that yesterday

Old video? Ummm....

Bluff? Not a bluff as much as saber rattling and chest thumping prior to negotiations next week.

They just wanted to raise the price of oil. Amazing what Photoshop can do, eh?

well that’s what the NY times gets, when they use the iranian military as the “news source”

imagine the outrage during WWII if the US media used tokyo rose as a “source”

Personally I’d still bomb them back to the stone age, just on principle.

No, the news was that the photo had been doctored, not that the entire video and rockets were old.

I hate that oil's so high.

But I love seeing the Dems in turmoil.

So I'm conflicted at seeing this current high oil price party end just yet.

Faking WMD is not a good national policy. Just look what happened to Sadam. He ended up a the short end of a rope.
We can only hope that the Iranian’s do it them selves.

Plagiarism.
Proving that Drudge is ‘yesterday’s news’, he copies the New York Times who copied FreeRepublic and LGF.
Neither Drudge nor NYTimes (traitorous rag) gave the proper citation.

Maybe we can show some photo shopped pics of oil rigs off the coast of Marthas Vineyard and Palm Beach.

Furthermore, radar and satellite data indicate that whatever was tested yesterday was of a short range, the source said.

....

Meanwhile, Israeli defense analysts said the “new” long-range missile of which Iran boasted was just an older Shahab-3, which has a range of less than 900 miles, not the 1,240 Tehran claimed.

Gates came out tooting the Star Wars horn too quickly. Did he think he could get away with this when “Western Sources” and the Israelis also had the real info? He thought they wouldn’t tell?

“Bluff? Not a bluff as much as saber rattling and chest thumping prior to negotiations next week.”

Makes sense.

The missiles are a near empty, macho gesture. If they blow a nuclear device, that’s a different story.

I sense there may be some big moves in the middle east soon involving calming down Iraq, Syria and Israel, and it will be the Gulf Arabs, not the US, forcing the deals.

What about the pictures of Iranian astronauts on the Moon, with the moon-Venus flag and everything? You'll be telling me that was faked next.
