Agree. McCain should also listen to another TR quote: "The most successful politician is he who says what the people are thinking most often in the loudest voice."

I wonder when McCain will get his voice, how long it will satay and on what subject(s). The will it be what the people are thinking?

I too, as some others have said, long for a better candidate ... however I will vote for McCain because the socialist/communist Obamma must be defeated. To not for for McCain is handing Obama the election.
