My FRiend, I believe what you and your brother did was very brave, and a good service to your Country. If only your Politicians would follow your example! You write:
> Both my brother and I being former minutemen have received death threats in the past... and the groups like La Raza and such encourage and advocate these type of Ideas...
The first few times you receive a Death Threat it can be rattling. I prefer to think of them this way: if they had any means of carrying out their threat, and if they were in earnest, they would not have threatened you: they would have just done it.
I pay no attention to Death Threats anymore. In many ways, they are a very high compliment. That is precisely how I take them: they are almost like trophies. View them as the Bollix of your enemies, to be preserved, treasured, and shown off at every opportunity.
A Death Threat is a surefire indication that a) you have them scared and b) you are doing it right and c) what you are doing is hurting them real bad and d) there ain’t a dam’n thing they can do about it.
I encourage you to view them likewise. And view the issuers of the Death Threats as weak, lily-livered, pusillanimous, cowardly, yellow, poncified, poor excuses and Ball-less wonders, worthy of as much contempt and opprobrium as you can summons, whenever you can be bothered to spare them a moment’s thought. Which should be seldom.
I keep mine in an old Cuban cigar box: “Romeo y Julietta, Churchills”. They smell nice and there’s something absurdly fitting and appropriate about that somehow...
