I carpooled for the first time in years this week and figure I saved about 20-30 dollars plus about a half hour a day in driving. I’m all for conservation...and drilling!

They are willing to bankrupt us all, and the economy in order to prevent that from happening. Just plain EVIL!

Actually it's called socialism. Preventing the nation from tapping into to our national resources is one of many methods the socialists employ to destroy the country so they can achieve their goal of replacing our Representative Democracy with socialism and thereby render the Constitution irrelevant.

With McCain creeping up the polls on a daily basis the Rats need to do something to really put a hurtin to our economy for the “magic negro” to even have a chance come November. Schumer started the ball rolling with Indybank, and I’m sure they have a lot more ideas up their sleeves to help sabatoge our economy before 11/7.

Use less.

OK, Mr. Alexander, here is a proposal for congress to consider.

Make ANY vehicle sold in the US that meets the US Government approved fuel standard of 40 MPG (or more) by COMPLETELY TAX FREE. No Federal taxes of any kind, no state taxes, no local taxes.

IF Ford, GM or Chrylser build a car that the government tests say gets an all-around fuel economy of 40 MPG, or more, then you pay NO TAXES on that car.

Whaddya say, Senator?
