If memory serves, the first thing to get blasted in the 1991 Gulf War was Saddam's "early warning site" courtesy of our AH-64 Apache helicopters.

There is nothing wrong with Mohammed's radar sites that American pilots cannot fix.

And one USAF CH-53 Pavelow helicopter that led them to the target. I claim a (very) small piece of that system. I worked on the design for the terrian following radar (it's actually a multimode radar, derived from the one that was in the RF-4) Hopefully they've replaced it by now.
