Contrary to the disclaimer "Content on blogs in My.BarackObama represents the opinions of community members and in no way should be interpreted as endorsed or approved by the campaign," the Obama campaign exercises editorial control over the site by routinely deleting entries and comments it finds "objectionable" or "disrespectful." The racist pejorative "honky" is apparently not objectionable or disrespectful, like Michael Pfleger's "There were a whole lot of white people crying."

Illinois Senator Barack Obama, candidate for the Democratic nomination for president, screwed-up in a stump speech today when he said American soldiers who died in Iraq "wasted" their lives. This is his quote: "We ended up launching a war that should have never been authorized and should have never been waged and to which we have now spent $400 billion and has seen over 3,000 lives of the bravest young Americans wasted."
No, Dave, he didn't [****] up. He told the TRUTH about a failed American foreign policy, FORETOLD by how many pre-invasion intel reports and analysis? The real criminal who [****] up is a honky named George. He's the guy who 'wasted' lives.
Imagine what people would say, and rightly so, if someone applied the N word to a Black politician they disliked. Barack Obama's official campaign, however, sanctions corresponding racist hate speech at a site over which it exercises editorial control and supervision.

Help turn My.BarackObama.com from an organizing and fundraising asset into a liability and embarrassment for the Obama campaign. Circulate the loathsome hate speech that pervades it as widely as possible. Always point out that the campaign exercises editorial control over the site--this is critical to negate the disclaimer that the campaign does not endorse or approve the content.

This is a great board, but we are just ‘preaching to the choir’ here. We need to take the information we gather here to the naive American voting public.
If we all spent a couple of hours each day on the net, writing letters to the editor and hitting the blogs and forums,
think what we could accomplish!

A little footnote; I have no idea how large the memembership of this boad is- being new here,
but it must be at least a couple of thousand.

Being of eastern european extraction, and having grown up in western Pennsylvania, I was always familiar with the term, "hunkie" but always thought of it as term strictly limited to a narrow ethno-linguistic group (originally just Hungarians, but later used generically for Slavs.) There was one episode of Barney Miller that I recall where somebody asked Ron Glass's character, Det. Harris, what the term, "Honky" meant, and he indicated that it was a term used to describe the elevated nasal ridge typical on Caucasian as opposed to the more typically flattened noses observed on blacks.
What do you expect from the campaign of someone who sat for twenty years at the feet of the racist hatemongering Reverend Wright?
The Last time I looked, the First Amendment still applied to people such as myself who are American Citizens, the Supreme Court ruled if candidates put themselves in the political spotlight they were the ones who subjected themselves to the tough questions. (U.S. Supreme Court. NEW YORK TIMES CO. v. SULLIVAN, 376 U.S. 254 (1964) ..... [376 U.S. 254, 263). Therefore, I will not lose my voice or my Constitutional Right (out of fear) to question this Marxist the Democrats are trying to cram down our throats.
Does that explain my logical understanding of the Moonbat Brigade? :)
