The thought of Gen. Petraeus having to deal with this fool makes me grind my teeth. A man with real intellect, real courage and genuine dedication to his country will have to be polite rather than smacking him in the chops.

Their are 2 issues that the R’s should ride all the way to the WH...the success in Iraq and the need to Drill...if they can’t exploit that against a far left novice then wth good is the GOP?

Well said- the empty suit is a cliche- but never more apt than when applied to Obama. I try to picture him sitting down with his advisors when he discovers he must Barack-track on his previous stands. Because his core seems so empty- it’s difficult to picture such a meeting- other than Axelrod writing up the new talking points...

A man with real intellect, real courage and genuine dedication to his country will have to be polite rather than smacking him in the chops. The other option is simply to resign, keep his honor intact and his powder dry.

That the Warshpost “adjusts” its editorial position to protect its principal asset from what they believe is a good chance it might be attacked by Moslems.

Petraeus will explain the facts of life to Obama, but Hagel will know where to find the officers sympathetic to Obama...and direct him there.

I think even the limp-wrists at WaPo are beginning to realize that Obama is best qualified as a City Councilman, not a Senator, let alone a Presidential Candidate.

I would like for a reporter to ask Hussein..... Senator, you have often mentioned bringing home brigades. For those of us not familiar with Army lingo, how many soldiers are in a brigade? What rank of officer is a brigade commander?Shirley you jest!< /sarc>

This Washington Post article could have been written by the Weekly Standard or National Review . . good stuff.

How the heck can he show his face to our troops over in Iraq? I can just hear the suppressed laughter now.

...”Not all democrats are as stupid as Obama, but they’re close.”...
I’m not too sure about that...I think being a democrat makes one stupid, by definition. Obama seems to be the dumbest of all.

"he has no executive experience at all, and little of any kind of significant experience." And it shows. BTO (Barack Teleprompter Obama) is not ready for prime time.

"Barack Obama looks and acts like a 12 year old, especially on foreign policy." Perfect characteristic to seal the liberal vote!

"Their are 2 issues that the Rs should ride all the way to the WH...the success in Iraq and the need to Drill..." Add a third. School choice. McCain should visit the excelling the voucher schools that Obama wants to shut down and promise to save them from Barack the School-Killer.....
The idea of vouchers is strongly supported by both blacks and whites. Black leadership opposes vouchers (and supports abortion) because they are the houseboys (and housegirls) of the DNC.
