Wall Street Journal takes well-deserved victory lap
Lone Star Times ^

Posted on 07/16/2008 6:51:01 AM PDT by mnehring

The Wall Street Journal has posted (and we republish below) an extraordinary series of editorials that, since 2002, have doggedly exposed the financial and intellectual rot that is now washing across America in the form of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac; you could find no better primer on the origins of the crisis we face:

Don’t you deserve to get your news and information from a media source capable of delivering that degree or insight and foresight?

I subscribe to the WSJ, but I've come "this close" to canceling when they persist in running editorials supporting amnesty for illegal aliens.

I can remember reading some of these in 2004-5...Appalled at the $$$ the ChiCom government invested in Fannie and Freddie at that time, and I often wonder today what stake they still have and the role they have played in this debacle...

Yea, I think that “Money Talk” guy on the radio has been warning about Fannie and Freddie for years. Then when the crap hits the fan, people act like it’s a surprise. Our gubmint is pathetic.

Wall Street Journal $2.00 a copy!!!!!!.....

Only if you buy it in a book store, convenience store, or a vending machine. They are rather aggressive about discounting their subscriptions.
