Kerry welcomes HIV-infected immigrants
2008 WorldNetDaily ^ | July 16, 2008

Posted on 07/17/2008 7:36:08 AM PDT by Las Vegas Ron

Immigrants infected with HIV may no longer be banned from living in the U.S. for the first time in more than 20 years.

A $50 billion Senate bill (SB 2731) intended to combat AIDS in Africa and other impoverished areas may effectively repeal a 1987 ban prohibiting travel and immigration for people infected with HIV. The U.S. is one of several countries to have such a rule, including Sudan, Saudi Arabia, Libya, and Russia, the Associated Press reports.

Supporters of the proposal say the policy is dated and must be eliminated. Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass, said even China has lifted its ban against travelers with the disease.

"[It's] time to move beyond an antiquated, knee-jerk reaction" to HIV-infected people, Kerry said. "There's no excuse for a law that stigmatizes a particular disease."

He said even immigrants with avian flu or Ebola virus have a smoother path to citizenship than those with HIV.

If there was any doubt in my mind that our Government in it's current form is deliberately trying to destroy this Country, this removes it.

There can be no other reason for allowing people with comminicable disease in amongst our Citizens.

Lurch doesn't pay taxes like the little people, he hides his wealth in trust funds and other elitist gimmicks. He also doesn't give to charity.

But he will spend your money for his projects!

Are we really stigmatizing a particular disease? Are the HIV-infected treated any differently than others with fatal communicable diseases? I think not.

Maybe because you either die or heal by the time any citizenship question comes up for people suffering from those two diseases. Ebola can kill in days and the flu in either days from the primary disease or a couple of weeks from secondary lung infections. AIDS continues for years.

If there was any doubt in my mind that our Government in it's current form is deliberately trying to destroy this Country, this removes it.

Senators say: "Social Security is going broke."

Senate solution: Shamnesty; allow 20 - 30 million illegals to draw Social Security benefits even they have not paid into the program.

Politicians say: "Too many Americans do not have health care."

Senate solution: Pass programs to provide free health care to illegal aliens and allow more millions of terminally infected aliens to immigrate, even though everyone knows they will not be able to work and that taxpayers will have to support them and pay for their very costly AIDS medicines and ongoing health care.

Congress no longer even tries to pretend they are representing the citizens and legal voters of America. They have stolen and given away so much taxpayer money that they don't even consider the immorality of their actions and the damage they are doing to America.

It is time for a BIG change in our government and not the kind Obama or McCain are talking about.

To the Democrats, illegal immigrants afflicted with
leprosy and tuberculosis, and other incurable diseases
are their new voters.

And who will pay?
Thanks to Mitt Romney, all Americans will pay.

RINO Romney, darling of the Democrats, surrounded by Sen. Kennedy and other beaming Democrats,
who admire their personally owned, trained, and docile, pandering RINO-Governor Romney
who delighted them as he install fascist-socialist HillaryCARE without allowng a single vote by a single citizen.

Sen. John Kerry to Don Imus on RomneyCARE=HillaryCARE: "I like this health care bill".

Sen. Hillary Clinton on RomneyCARE=HillaryCARE: "To come up with a bipartisan plan in this polarized environment is commendable."

Notice he said China lifted ban on travellers (though I can’t imagine an immigrant to China.) I don’t have a real problem with that, but immigrants, once here, will be serviced by our health care system. No matter whose model is used, current, McCain’s, of the haloed one’s,that immigrant’s care will be paid bu you and me.

Actually, they are treated better. Just try globetrotting with TB or typhoid and see what happens.

Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass, said even China has lifted its ban against travelers with the disease.

So let them travel to China. If Kerry wants to use China as a model of immigration policy, he should go there without a visa and see what happens.

I hate to burst your bubbles while everyone is on the Kerry slap fest, but Pres. Bush’s administration was the first to ask for including HIV entrants.

Bush — ‘King’ of AIDS Immigration?
Asia One ^ | 07.01.2008 | Chad Groening

An immigration activist is questioning the White House decision to give foreign nationals with HIV/AIDS a special waiver to obtain short-term visas to enter the country.

At a recent White House press briefing, Press Secretary Dana Perino was asked if President Bush agrees with a call by Senators John Kerry (D-Massachusetts) and Gordon Smith (R-Oregon) for the lifting of a ban on immigration into the U.S. for those who have HIV or AIDS.

Perino said the president has directed the Secretary of State to request that the Secretary of Homeland Security initiate a rulemaking to propose a categorical waiver for HIV-positive people seeking to enter the United States on short-term visas, which will provide a more streamlined process.
