"Hundreds of Denver's homeless could be cooling their heels in a movie theater or museum while the Democratic National Convention is in town next month.
The Colorado Coalition for the Homeless plans to get 500 movie tickets as well as passes to the Denver Zoo, Denver Museum of Nature and Science and other cultural facilities for the people it helps.

Well, who would have know that the homeless problem would have been solved by tickets to the zoo and movies? Do they get free popcorn too?
Note to self ... do not attend a movie in Denver on DNC Weekend.

Guess it beats that episode of the Simpsons where they fed Springfield’s homeless to Homer after he became a blob from space.
If I owned, or worked at, a movie theater right now, I’d be concerned.
they’re just trying to get them all in centralized locations so they can give them cigarettes in exchange for votes like they did in the last two elections

They should be in the zoo as exhibits.
Dude, like totally harsh man... :)
...click on the photo with the article...get a load of those able bodied sh*tbirds....laughing while they panhandle for booze...how I miss the days when a cop would put a billy to ‘em and tell them to get out of town.
you know, the more I looked at that picture the more it reminded me of something....then it came to me....Alex and his Droogs in Kubrick’s movie “Clockwork Orange”.
Those movie theaters will need to be disinfected and sanitized after the homeless sit in them.
how about free showers, shaves, and a trip to a job fair.
At least at the zoo the animals won’t complain about the smell.
All Hail High Def Big Screen TVs!!!
