“Agreed. They’ve spent the better part of the twentieth century turning the country into a Socialist anthill. They’ll finish the job in the twenty-first.”

Where do I start? Did a British tourist cr*p on your lawn? Where DOES all this anti-British propaganda come from? Ok, more likely than not from the media in the US, which is so rabidly anti-UK it gets you viewers falling over each other to get the next barb in.

“Let the Muzzies have the DAMN place. The British deserve to lose it”, posts one fool.

WHAT is it you think you’re doing? You have probably never been to this country, been to its cities, lived in its estates. You’ve never been to Nottingham for a night out, or London to see the history of the place. You’ve never seen Trafalgar Square and Nelsons Column. The White Cliffs of Dover. The Lake District. The Scottish Highlands.

The only job that will be finished in the 21st century is that the UK will realise that although it is staunchly Atlanticist, the relationship is all one way and we are treated with no regard by Yanks. No matter how many wars we fight ‘alongside’ the US (Just a matter of 2 Gulfs Wars and an Afghan Adventure in recent times, with hundreds KIA and thousands wounded), we will always be treated with the minimum respect, and usually less than.

I can only assume you lost a fistfight with a Cockney and hae got a grudge against the entire country. Or you’re simply a racist, to the wrong people.

Hey,I do not know about that poster but I sure have. I love the place and have many of my best memories in my lifetime from there, including London- but am sickened and saddened by what I see in your papers. Honestly. Some days the news is so bad, I feel like I am seeing a bad car accident, where I do not want to look-but have to. I still read the Daily Echo and the Daily Mail every day to keep in touch.

And it looks awful. Granted, Bad News Sells, but ALL this stuff, every day?
