Security guards block Truth Truck from leaving parking lot, help abortion-bound women see the horrific truth about abortion

ST. LOUIS, MO., July 20 /Christian Newswire/ -- Operation Rescue's Truth Truck, driven by Mark Gietzen, caused a stir the St. Louis Planned Parenthood abortion mill on Saturday, July 19, 2008, when he drove onto their parking lot and parked near the front door as abortion-bound women entered the facility.
Security guards for Planned Parenthood immediately rushed to close the parking lot's iron gates to prevent the Truth Truck from leaving while they summoned the police. But this action turned out for the good, allowing the Truth Truck to witness to the women in the parking lot for longer than it would have otherwise.
Gietzen was convinced that his actions were completely legal.
"They did not have the proper signage to keep me off the lot," he said.
Apparently the police agreed. Officers made the Planned Parenthood security guards open the gate and allow the Truth Truck to leave as over 300 pro-lifers cheered.
"You would think if Planned Parenthood didn't want their patients to see the Truth Truck, they would have let Mark drive on, instead of holding him hostage," said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman. "By locking the Truth Truck into their parking lot, they were accomplishing our work for us!"
Gietzen and the Truth Truck were in St. Louis to attend the Walls Of Jericho Event hosted by the Defenders of the Unborn.

I love how the Lord set the enemies of the truth into a state of confusion. Their efforts to detain the Truth Truck may have saved some lives. Praise God for His faithfulness.
That PP is a profitable business while killing innocents and yet receives federal subsidies (our tax $$) chaps me to no end! The bald injustice of this evil national cancer is appalling along with it’s rotgut blinded supporters.
How many folks just rescheduled their appointments?
These “media events” do not work. These are great for PR, and fund raising, aren’t they? What is accomplished.
Not starting a confrontation here but do you have any evidence to support that statement? I'd be willing to bet that more than one baby has been saved and that would make it "worth it".

The left has used media events for decades. Every bit of so-called news is merely another media event for these people. So they certainly can and do work, if well thought out.

This is great. Hopefully at least one life was saved. Planned Death hates the truth. They try to hide because they know that the more people that see the truth, the less abortions there will be.
The Truth Trucks absolutely do work. My good friend at NATIONAL AMERICAN HOLOCAUST MEMORIAL has had one himself for over a year now, used others for several years and has said many women have not gone through with planned abortions after having seen the pics.
I know the same has happened with simple pro-life bumper stickers and other signs. It certainly does not work everywhere or every time but it has in fact saved many.

I believe that any time bought and pictures seen will have made an impact on those who saw them. I prefer to see the cup as half full rather than half empty. I am actually laughing at the moment at the sense of humor God has! PP locked in their lot their ‘enemy’ creating a scene over it which attracted more attention to it than if they had ignored it. The gates were closed, probably preventing others from entering during that time, as well, which could have shut out prospective abortives. They shot themselves in the foot, so to speak, by their own actions.
