Today on CBS's Face the Nation, Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., in Afghanistan, told the paparazzi-pursued correspondent Lara Logan that "the objective of this trip was to have substantive discussions with people like President Karzai or Prime Minister Maliki or President Sarkozy or others who I expect to be dealing with over the next eight to 10 years.
"And it's important for me to have a relationship with them early, that I start listening to them now, getting a sense of what their interests and concerns are."
The notion that Obama will be dealing with world leaders for eighjt-to-ten years, possibly up through July 2018, suggests that either (a) he believes that not only will he be elected and re-elected, but the 22nd amendment will be repealed and he will be elected for a third term, OR (b) he was speaking casually and just meant two terms.

or (c), he’s just expecting to jump on the “statesman” gravy train afterwards, touring the world for two years to collect fees for services performed in the previous eight years.

He’ll pass an affirmative action law that will allow him two 5 year terms. One extra year for each of the additional 3 and1/2 states in the new USA of Obama.

I have come to think that the people running Obama don’t really expect him to be “running” anything. He’ll just front for them. They needed someone this dumb and egotistic.
Mrs. Clinton must be cackling her head off this weekend.
To me it is simple.. This nation can survive a McCain administration.. I don’t think he will be in for 2 terms just one.. So no big deal.. I’m not holding my nose when I’m voting McCain.. As for Barak administration, it would take generations to clean up the mess if he is in it for 2 terms. McCain is not perfect, but who is..
Is it possible that he knows he won’t win and he is looking to the future with these year spans?
Ten years? does he think terms are 5 years each or is that one of the changes he intends to make?
As soon as it gets ratified by each of the 57 states.
