An outspoken Long Island gun owner's home was raided by Nassau County detectives, who seized two dozen weapons he lawfully owns just one day after Rep. Carolyn McCarthy's office made a 911 call about him.

Freeport resident Gabriel Razzano claims he was targeted in the spring raid for his "unpopular" political beliefs.

Pretty scary stuff - too bad the sheriff didn't tell Rep. Carolyn McCarthy's office to stuff it...

A crazed gunman murdered her husband in the infamous 1993 Long Island Rail Road Massacre.

And if anyone remembers - it was a "crazed" black man looking to kill white people...

Too bad her husband could not legally fight back

"The office staff felt that Razzano's behavior was disruptive and threatening," said Lt. Kevin Smith, a police spokesman.

Razzano's home was raided the next morning.

That's all it takes anymore when one of the Lords is displeased.

“He's now filed a $5 million federal lawsuit against the Nassau PD and McCarthy, charging they joined forces to strip him of his guns unconstitutionally.”

I hope McCarthy loses her whole fortune to this man. She is a super-lefty disgrace in the Congress. As she can claim “victim” status, she has become untouchable politically.

This is exactly what the anti freedom tyrants want, and why they want to take everyone's guns. They are afraid of that their civilian masters might take offense at their actions.

Something is not right about this story. Congressional offices do not call 911 to get things done.

The flap arose on March 19, when Razzano visited McCarthy's Garden City office to discuss an article about an illegal immigrant who was deported but was later nabbed in Freeport for the attempted murder of a cop. "The office staff felt that Razzano's behavior was disruptive and threatening," said Lt. Kevin Smith, a police spokesman. Razzano's home was raided the next morning.

One would think that any behavior that was disruptive and threatening enough to justify a police raid the next morning would have resulted in his arrest at McCarthy's office.

“One would think that any behavior that was disruptive and threatening enough to justify a police raid the next morning would have resulted in his arrest at McCarthy’s office.”

Which very thought raises the BS flag for me on this subject.

While Democrats always scream about how Republicans are fascists without offering any evidence, they are the first to resort to fascist behavior to silence their opponents. Remember President Wilson and his arrest of over one hundred thousand of his opponents, the prosecution of nineteen thousand, and his order that the US Postal service not deliver magazines and newspapers that is didn't like.

The article showed the guy next to his gun-safe. If there was a bad enough problem to confiscate guns after a raid on his house, why is he not in custody?

This smells worse than a 2 day dead turtle in the Texas sun.

No charges, no arrest should make him a few million dollars.

I hope McCarthy loses her whole fortune to this man.

That is what is needed. A hard, personal smackdown would put the politicians on notice that their actions have personal consequences. I hope this guy prevails.

They often do. When Congressman Kolbe(R-AZ) was in office, my husband called his local office about a problem with the VA. The lady on the phone took offence to his complaint and the next thing we know, a couple of sheriff’s deputies were at the gate. Lucky for us, once hubby told them his side, they left. I guess it could have been worse.

As bad as it sounds, I have no sympathy for this vile woman. How many innocent lives have been lost because of her hysterical irrational fear of a simple tool (in this case, firearms)?
She, and others like her, just need to get their butts out of government and go home.

Only suing for $5 million is way too low. Sue them for $50 million. That will set off fireworks all across the country.

If they don’t want to go to trial, settle for $25 million.

If they disagree and say it’s outrageous, the only response will be a few words: see you in court.

Why arrest him when they can strike fear into his neighborhood and family by raiding his home and confiscating his legally-owned firearms?
