We should outlaw dual-citizenship, and insist that at least one birth parent be a citizen... not just a resident, but a citizen... before citizenship is given to the child.

Or, if one parent becomes a citizen, then citizenship shoule be retroactive for their non-adult children.

I don't care about dual citizenship. I've known a few people with dual citizenship and I don't blame them at all for keeping it. It's a fall back. It gives them rights in two countries, and if things go bad here they can go to the other country. If I could be a citizen of some decent country out there plus have U.S. citizenship I'd do it in a heartbeat. Then if our economy tanks and the government falls apart and everything goes to Hell in a handbasket I'd have somewhere else to go where they'd have to let me in.
