Kind of peculiar. But how would anyone know the stiffs were Rom? I don’t see how that is relevant. Europeans may differ on a lot of issues country to country, but they all seem to hate gypsies. I've been warned about them by locals in London, Venice, Berlin and Athens. They apparently gather in groups and loot everything in sight like a horde of locusts, then move on.
