Bosnian Serb war crimes suspect Radovan Karadzic has been arrested in Serbia, presidential and government sources in Belgrade say.
The Bosnian Serb wartime political leader disappeared in 1996 and was subsequently indicted by the UN War Crimes Tribunal in The Hague.
He is accused of war crimes and genocide over the massacre of 7,500 Muslim men and boys at Srebrenica.
His wartime military leader, Ratko Mladic, remains at large.

I’m curious as to the location of his capture...whether it was in Serbia (as the article alludes to) or in Bosnia or Montenegro.

This organization alone makes me be suspect on the validity of their charges.

OK...after all of the bogus stories that have emanated from that part of the world, I have to ask...were 7,500 Muslim men and boys at Srebrenica ever massacred?

Roughly that number perished. However, many were killed during running gun battles as they retreated. The rest were executed after being captured. The media will portray it as one big execution of 7,500. Many pro-Serbs will claim that there were no executions, despite the mountains of evidence behind it.
Were all of those killed innocent? Of course not. Some of those killed took part in massacres against Serbs on a much smaller scale in the previous two years.

One doubts it would have occurred in either Bosnia or Montenegro - they being separate countries ourside the purview of Serbian security forces and all.
Still, the proof shall be in the pictures as far as confirmation of his arrest.

For the last decade we’ve been fed stories that Karadzic was jumping the border constantly between RS and Montenegro. Serbs all over the internet are now yelling “traitor” towards Ivica Dacic, Milosevic’s successor to the leadership of the Serbian Socialists. He just enters the gov’t and only two weeks later Karadzic goes down. This suggests to me that Kostunica was in on hiding Karadzic.

Have they paid off McCain et al? If so, they won’t have to anymore than the devils in Kosovo are answerable for anything they’ve done. The Bush Administration has seen to that!

Maybe he's staying with Wesley Clark? Good ol' Wes was supporting the muslims in this one,
the Serbs didn't stand a chance while the disgraced ex-
pervert was supplying air cover for the invaders of Serbia.

Wow! After all these stories about how Karadzic was “surrounded by bodyguards who would kill as soon as look at you”, he gets captured without a fight? That’s a surprise.
