It was supposed to be a nice bonus for people who paid $1,500 to attend a fundraiser for U.S. Sen. Frank Lautenberg (D-N.J.) -- a ticket to the Bruce Springsteen concert Sunday at Giants Stadium.
But the Lautenberg campaign canceled its order for 40 tickets yesterday after it came under review by the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority, which is promoting the concert, and drew fire from Republicans.

It's a shame, because the Senator is a huge fan of The Boss.
Lautenberg was just a wide-eyed, naive youth of 50 when Bruce Springsteen first appeared on the charts.

Just as an aside... but for Chuck Schumer's determination to never have a camera within 200 yards that he isn't in front of, Frank Lautenberg would easily be described as the single most anti-gun politician in Washington.
He's a perfect example of everything that's wrong with politicians in general and Democrats in particular.
