I wish he’d just apologize. He doesn’t need to be fired over this. But if he’s so concerned what a real man should act like, well it’s pretty obvious to me that real men don’t pick on retarded children, and real men apologize when they make mistakes.
He can go on making fun of liberals for the rest of his life without ever feeling like he needs to apologize for that, but this was something that crossed the lines of basic human decency in my opinion. Just saying “You know what, I was trying to exaggerate for effect but it really came out badly and hurt a lot of good people, so I’m sorry I put it that way” would end the whole thing.
Savage didn’t make fun of children. He believes they are being damage by a false diagnosis.
