It’s called ‘welfare’. The state pays for all the kids I’m sure.

That is the most ignorant post I have seen today. Without a shred of evidence, you assume they are on welfare. In my church there are families with that number of children and darn near it. (Two have 13, two others have 12, a number have 8 or 9). Their incomes vary widely, and none are on welfare. Food is usually the least of the problems. It costs less to make spaghetti and sauce for 13 kids than it does to provide two with a "Happy Meal", big families like this one tend to be problem solvers. They buy clothes from thift stores, sometimes grow their own vegetables, and do without the latest gizmos and cable tv. Also, some truckers work over time to earn extra money. Conservatives suffer enough from false assumptions about how they live. This family did nothing to earn your insult.

In England you are not allowed to not recieve state money, basically. Taxes are at punitive levels, and then you have to apply for various “credits” to get money back. Most people can’t make ends meet without the money they receive from the state. In this case, they will certainly be getting their child tax credit, over 600 pounds a month for a family that size.

I'm in a business that has large swings in income. One of my buddies says I eat better the broker I get. ;)

Homecooked (from scratch) poverty food is pretty good.
