Jindal says "No Thanks"

Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal said Wednesday he does not want to be considered as vice president on the GOP ticket, making him among a growing number of those pulling themselves out of the race.

” I look forward to continuing to be governor of Louisiana. This is a once in a lifetime chance to improve our state. We’ve cut six taxes but we’ve got a lot more work to do right here in Louisiana,” Jindal told “FOX & Friends” on Wednesday.

I agree, twigs. And I think that the Dems and Drive-Bys (same deal) would tie Ridge with W and it would be non-stop McCain-Bush, McCain-Bush.

I just don’t think that Ridge carries that kind of credibility in PA.

My personal issue now are the Supremes.

I understand but I think ultimately the VP on either side will not be a huge factor on Election Day. Voters will choose between McCain and Obama, and who Americans feel comfortable with as leader of this county.

You’re right. I hadn’t thought about the tie-in with the president. I was just reacting to Ridge.

Bobby has already proven his willingness to tell the media one thing over and over and over again, and then do the exact opposite when it becomes politically expedient.

I’ll go with Tom “water-me-twice-per-week” Ridge. Why ruin a good person with the “Tin Man”. Let’s see who the other two losers will be running with these two losers.

When in front of a leftist crowd recently, McCain said, “I voted to approve Ginsberg and Breyer, so don’t worry about me.” Paraphrased.

I don’t have much faith in this guy on this issue... well on just about any issue.

The Supremes that will be picked next term are crucial.

The only "crucial" decisions will be who will be confirmed by the Democrat and RINO Senate. I don't think their would be much difference if McCain or Obama were president. McCain is closer to Kennedy than Obama and McCain would probably let Kennedy do the vetting of any SCOTUS justice. Obama might listen to some other liberal Democrat. The end result will be the same.

Jindal on the ticket would be a loser, as would Romney.

I agree. Ridge may be a fine gentleman and all that, but man he is boring to watch and to hear. He’s about as exiting as Bob Dole, or maybe watching paint dry.

This year with McCain(another pretty boring guy)running, we need somebody who can stir things up (especially with all the media-driven excitement generated for Obama).

Romney is the guy.

Jindal is a real conservative republican. He knows joining this ticket would push him to the center. Its not his time.

His escapade as an exorcist while in college is too recent, also. Everyone would have had a field day with that one.

Jindal has just proved he has the
political maturity (unlike the 143 day wonder) to someday become POTUS.

McCain said, “I voted to approve Ginsberg and Breyer, so don’t worry about me.” Paraphrased.

That was back in the day when Presidents were allowed to get their nominee...

Even when Bork got Borked the Repubes tried to carry on the tradition. That was then this is now. Unless you are conspiracy truther conspiracy theorist, McQueeg will nominate better judges than Obomba.

Translation:

McCain has decided on Mitt, and now he’s arranging for everyone to walk away with their dignity and future prospects intact.

Seriously. Mitt can turn this thing around.

I know, he’s just the VP.

He can.

9/11 was an inside job.

He said this in the middle of June 2008, to a leftist oriented group, to assure them he wasn’t a problem with regard to judicial appointments.

Disgruntled Hillary voters would put him over the top.

Unless Palin is pro-choice then she won't do anything to attract disgruntled Clinton supporters.

Traditionally, the senate confirms judicial nominations on a basis of what party was elected. The Borking changed that. McQueeg still observes the tradition. Ruth Buzzy Ginsberg was confirmed 96-3, are you going to rank on Strom Thurmond, Domenici and Hatch voting for her too? You need to find a better straw man to justify your temper tantrum.
