Another Soon-To-Be-Nuanced Statement from Obama

John at Power Line notices another in a seemingly endless series of gaffes from the Naive Messiah: The Fine Line Between Pandering and Lying.

Obama continued:

Now, in terms of knowing my commitments, you don’t have to just look at my words, you can look at my deeds. Just this past week, we passed out of the U.S. Senate Banking Committee, which is my committee, a bill to call for divestment from Iran, as a way of ratcheting up the pressure to ensure that they don’t obtain a nuclear weapon. But Obama is not a member of the Senate Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee. Obama just made that up so he could count the committee’s action as one of “my deeds.”

No, but come September the 527’s will. There is hope on the horizon and it’s called the First Amendment, despite John McCain.

Well he really needed to make up a committee affiliation where he could claim some kind of accomplishment, because he knows that he has done zilch in all of his real committee assignments.... and the sub-committee for which he is CHAIRMAN has still never held a single hearing or done anything about NATO oversight (I kinda prefer it that way, it’s actually better when Demagogues don’t stick their nose into the work being done by real professionals). Perhaps the Obamessiah will reflect upon his vast legislative and leadership record and give us just a few examples of anything he actually accomplished?

This guy makes Bill Clinton look honest.

At least when Bill lies you knew he had his hand caught in the cookie jar, when this guy lies it's scary.

The print media has actually been surprisingly aggressive of late, or at least much more so than the cable/network retards. First WaPo, then the LAT, and today the NYT have gone after him in editorials.

Obama tells Israel he's committed to its security The Associated Press - 57 minutes ago "Just this past week, we passed out of the US Senate Banking Committee, which is my committee, a bill to call for divestment from Iran, ...

I don't even see him listed as a member of a subcommittee,but hey, he's been traveling a lot,maybe he's just tired.

Obama has done so little during his tenure in the Senate, that he doesn’t remember which committees he’s on......

Bill ‘sinkEmperor’ clinton knew when he was lying, Barry hasn’t got a clue since his entire lifeframe is a fantasy. But more frightening is the reality that so many voters actually don’t care that the guy is a clueless puppet of DNC powerbrokers. They haven’t a clue that Reid and Pelosi aren’t about to relinquish any control to him and that’s why the dnc is pushing the empty suit for president.

Please don’t refer to that snake in the grass as such a beloved character as Bambi. I understand the niave angle you are going with, but Bambi is a term of endearment to the left and that will garner sympathy for being niave (or stupid).

I wonder how Chris Dodd (D-CN), the chairman of the Banking Committee, feels about the neophyte Obama claiming it is "his committee"...

For that matter, I wonder how egotist Schmuckie Schumer (D-NY), chairman of one of the Banking committee's sub-committees, feels about the egotistic punk making such a claim.

The Democrat caucus could get very interesting...
