as a Jew i take offense at the Obama political banners at the Wall. perhaps the Orthodox felt the same way. would Obama put banners in a church service? i don’t think he should be lecturing others on reverence.

I agree with you. I am a Catholic and this is very offensive to me too.
A big gaffe on his part for not respecting/knowing the history of the region.
