Howard (I’ve been listening to him for so long I feel like we are on a first name basis) is a one issue person.

Any politician who promises to disband the FCC and let him say words like “penis” on “public radio”* is his hero.

Meanwhile, the conservative concept of ordered liberty becomes clearer to me. As a capitalist he benefited from the free markets and went where he was allowed to do what he wanted. A medium where he is free. And frankly his show stinks now. All they do is talk about what happened over the weekend.

No more guests or bits.

*Why the Gubmint thinks they own radio waves or the beaches that belong to the people is mysterious.

How does that old saying go? A Conservative is a Liberal who has been mugged?

Not that this makes Stern a Conservative but what the hell. As long as he doesn't vote DemocRAT anymore.

Yeah, that whole liberty thing can be pretty uncomfortable, can't it?

No, what would be uncomfortable is when the Democrats would try to trot out Stern's support of Republicans as another Mark Foley or Larry Craig moment.

A liberal is just a conservative who hasn’t been held up yet.

Theres a lot more of this happening now too. The Dems have consolidated a lot of power. There is no longer a reason to share with every media constituent. The media constituents the Dems share with now are Internet and Television.
