That is how you can tell a Democrat from a Republican. Most rats won't give you the time of the day and will only pose with prescreened rat supporters. On the other-hand most Repubs will take the time to say kind words and press the flesh. Even when there is no cameras around...

I walked into the PR shop one day when B-1 Bob Dornan was getting suited up for a good deal ride. My buddy and I turned around to make a hasty exit, but got stopped by the Congressman telling us to come on back. He wanted to shake hands, introduce himself, etc.
Not one camera in the place.
