Those things dead are nasty. Great Salt Lake in Utah is a perfect example.

Maybe these are a flock of birds with low self esteem preyed upon by a charismatic ornithologist and they committed mass suicide because they believed the sky was going to fall due to global warming......after all birds of a feather.........

Have there been any recent reports of thefts of large amounts of Alka-Seltzer? ;-)

Did Obama visit recently? Maybe the gravitational field from his massive ego sucked them out of the sky.

...just seven months after more than 5000 birds
died from lead poisoning in the regional town of Esperance.

So they're still using lead shot in their shotguns down-under?

Bird flu strikes the seagulls now. They get the virus from geese and ducks, the number one vector of Phase Five Bird Flu. No one has announced what really caused the seagull deaths yet--it's too troubling. Worse yet: Phase Six is when the virus succeeds in mutating to allow it to infect human respiratory systems by air transmission. Then it's goodbye Charlie.

Prediction by Dr. Doom (that's me): The dreaded mutation will happen sooner rather than later and make the 1918-19 Flu Pandemic (80-100 million deaths worldwide) look like a minor population hiccup. Are you ready? The gummint has already announced their triage system when the Phase Six Pandemic arrives. They have 120 million doses of Tamiflu treatment for the flu to distribute to those they consider the "viable population" (but there are 304 million Americans). If you're over 80, have a physical or mental problem of any kind, you don't get the meds and may go away and die. Please do so as quietly as possible. FEMA is said to have thoughfully stockpiled thousands of plastic coffins for you. True? Quien sabe?

Clearly Bush’s fault.

Autopsies have failed to explain the mystery.

I don't imagine that they would. Non-human postmortem examinations are called necropsies.

The global warming tards will somehow find a way to blame this on climate change.
